Homelessness.
During the fall of Detroit manufacturing industry in the city of Detroit resident. In the considerations combine with homelessness are diverse and commonly communicated. It is often the conjunction of two or three of these factors that results in an individual or family becoming homeless. In the most problem was bankruptcy, corruption and racial tension. we can see at some of the most important factors leading to homelessness in the city of Detroit.
The main problem in Detroit was Leading up to the way of the city of Detroit is now, it all problem started back in the 1950's. According to The New York Times, city of Detroit unsuccessful to bounce back from the bankruptcy, Racial Tensions, and corruption. When during the rise of the auto industry manufacturing and some tobaccos industry was on its approach, blacks African Americans migrated to the central city for job opportunities to the city of Detroit. In the 1967, the city of Detroit riots turned violent. In that time Many middle class whites moved from Detroit city to the surrounding suburbs.
During the 1950s, the city of Detroit lost around 363,000 white residents while it gained 182,000 black residents. In 1950, the population was according to the Detroit population 16 % black, and by the time of the 1967 the city of Detroit riot it had grown to a third. In the current situation, about 82 % of the city of Detroit population is black African American almost the all population is black. The additional reason of the city of Detroit’s decline the reason was so downwards because of the lack of a well-organized Transportation System. Because of they had such a strong management of the auto industry, the city of Detroit focused more on car culture, more money was invested in building highways rather than a public transportation system and trying to avoid that kind of problems.
In my opinion and according my research the causes of homeless in city of Detroit was having a lot of problems the big three automotive bankruptcy and the racial tension is the most problem in Detroit and corruption was the second management problem to making their people homeless. According to housingresourcesinc.org, there was several reasons why the city of Detroit people become homeless, Family households are self-possessed principally of young women with young children who have lost their normal maintenances from their family and their friends and they are experiencing unembellished insufficiency. Other issues include the city of Detroit unemployment, jobs/skills that wasn’t make for their living revenue, lack of dependable their transportation system, the medical expenses and disease, disability, and violence in the home.
According to the new York times This is in contrast still with “Bankrupt Detroit,” some causes marking the city of Detroit bankruptcy city statement contained of file photos pulled from 2008 through this year. Certainly an oversimplification, it seems more. The causes the city of Detroit mission is to increase awareness of the problems of people who were homeless in city of Detroit and the improvement and transportation out of their strategies to create permanent and create the solutions to homelessness no for their community or the city of Detroit."
